Known for his aerodynamic soul patch, Jayson was born in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania in 1988. Jayson grew up in small town USA, Berwick, Pennsylvania and was encouraged by his parents, Kathryn and Jay, to follow his dreams. In 1998 his need for speed went to a whole new level when he rode the Comet, a classic wooden roller coaster built in 1946 featuring quick turns and drops at Hershey® Park. At just 10 years old, Jayson knew his dream would be going feet first down the ice at 80 mph.
Jayson is a US Luger, four time World Cup medalist, and U.S. Olympian. He’s focused, driven, motivated and is ready to tackle the long road of training necessary to compete in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
